Last blog, Last G10, Last Seeing You

As the fourth quarter draws to a close, I find myself pausing to look back at the whirlwind of the past few months. This school year has been a series of lessons, some learned from textbooks and others shaped by the challenges of balancing research, academics, and personal growth. Along the way, I have come to realize that growth does not always happen in big, obvious moments. More often, it takes place in the quiet in-between spaces, during late-night study sessions, shared breakthroughs with classmates, and the times I had to push myself to stand up again after a setback.

There were moments when everything felt overwhelming, when deadlines piled up and expectations felt heavier than usual. Still, those same moments taught me resilience and discipline. They reminded me that progress is not always perfect or immediate, but it is always possible as long as I keep going.

Somewhere in the middle of all this, I also found myself feeling something unexpected. I had a crush on someone. At first, it felt like a distraction, something that might take my focus away from my goals. Over time, I realized it became a quiet source of motivation. It pushed me to do better, to carry myself with more confidence, and to strive not just to impress someone else, but to become a better version of myself. It showed me that emotions, when understood and managed well, can support growth instead of holding me back.

This reflection is not just about looking back. It is about recognizing how every experience, whether academic, personal, or emotional, has shaped who I am becoming. As I prepare for the next chapter, I carry with me not just the lessons I have learned, but also the motivation I have discovered in unexpected places. Moving forward, I want to continue growing with the same curiosity, resilience, and quiet determination that brought me this far.
