Forks Up! How I Rocked My Nutrition Month
Nutrition Month was a wonderful opportunity for me to participate in activities that promote healthy eating while enjoying time with my peers. It was a meaningful experience that combined learning, creativity, and teamwork, making the celebration both enjoyable and impactful.
During Nutrition Month, our team took part in NutriJingle the contest where we created an original jingle promoting good nutrition. I am proud to say that our hard work earned us third place at the national level, which was a rewarding achievement.
In addition to the contest, we organized a booth where we sold brownies and cookies infused with horseradish, as well as fresh spring rolls. These unique treats sparked curiosity and interest among visitors, including teachers and fellow students.
The booth was lively and well-received, providing a wonderful opportunity to share nutritious food options in a fun and engaging way. Overall, the experience was both educational and enjoyable. It was fulfilling to see others appreciate the effort we put into promoting healthy eating habits, and I genuinely had fun throughout the event.
Looking back, Nutrition Month was an enriching experience that allowed me to grow both personally and as part of a team. Winning third place in the NutriJingle contest was a highlight, but more importantly, it was gratifying to contribute to raising awareness about nutrition in a positive and enjoyable manner. This experience has inspired me to continue embracing healthy choices and encouraging others to do the same.
